Vigour
Moderate vigour with short branches with a steep inplant.

Blossom
Early flowering, a little sensitive for night-frost (during the flowering period). Discovery is a very good pollinator for many other apple-varieties (high quality anther dust).

Productivity
Very good. 

Picking period
Early – mid August.

Shape
Medium sized with a remarkeble flat shape. Red striped red blush on a yellow backgrouwnd. 

Flavour
Firm and and juicy with white-yellow colored pulp.

Shelf life 
Till early September, not suitable for long storgage.
