Vigorous, comaprible with Red Boskoop.  

Blossom
Early, ten days before Golden Delisious, triploid, self intolerant. Good pollinator necessary!

Productivity
Early with a good yield.  

Picking period
From the third week of September mid-October, earlier as Red Boskoop Bielaar.  

Shape
Typical Boskoop look a like. The Boskoop Quast has more color overlay relative to the Red Boskoop Bielaar. Boskoop Quast is medium sized (75/85 mm).

Flavour
The pulp is quite firm and sour, very good to use for apple juice and apple-cake.

Shelf life 
Suitable for the early selling period as well as for long storage (under ULO-conditions).
