The vigour of Triomphe is variable, but in general moderate. The shape of the tree is narrow with steep growing branches.
Early with anther dust of high quality but self intolerant. The use of pollinator trees is required; Beurré Hardy, Conference and Doyenné du Comice are suitable to use for the pollination of Triomphe de Vienne.
Early with moderate to good yields. Triomphe de Vienne is very sensitive for fluctuations in the production and requires good thinning.
Quite big sized with a green to bronze color.
The taste of Triomphe de Vienne is very good with juicy and sweet pulp.
Triomphe de Vienne can be stored until late September, combined with a very good shelf life.
