Moderate to strong.

Blossom
EEarly with high quality anther dust. Conference is a little bit self tolerant and parthenocarpie is possible. The use of other varieties for pollination is recommended.

Productivity
Early with normal to high yields. Usually there is a high return when there is an investment in quality thinning.

Picking period
September, Conference can be sensitive to fall of the trees in August / September when there is a strong wind.

Flavour
Light-orange tinted, juicy and sweet pulp with a very nice taste. Conference is the main pear variety planted in The Netherlands and Belgium.


Shelf life
Storage under ULO-conditions until late June. Conference has a relative long shelf life after storage.

Specialties
Conference trees on our Nursery are produced like Traditional tree (crown with sidebranches), V-haag (minimal 4 equal branches) and like colomn trees (long stam with small branches).
