Gieser Wildeman

Arise from
unknown.

Discovered
By Wildeman, Gorinchem, The Netherlands.

Vigour
Grows not very strong and the shape of the tree is quite squat with ascending branches. The development of branches on the tree is quite difficult.

Mid-time with high quality anther dust and self-tolerant. Gieser Wildeman is often used as pollinator-tree for the pollination of other pear-varities.

Small with a brown-yellow colour.

Flavour
Gieser Wildeman is particulary suitable to use as cooking-pear.
