Early and good. Enough thinning and at the right time is required or else the production will decrease in the next year.

From the second week of September till the end of September.
Shape
The apples from Red Elstar are small with e regular shape with e much better colour than the normal Elstar.
Flavour
The pulp has a cream-colour with a very good aroma. The structure of the pulp is quite solid and juicy with a very good flavour.

Shelf life
Red Elstar can be stored till Juni and with the application of SmartFresh the apples can be stored till August. The shelf life is quite good.
