Mid-time. The flowering is overwelming and regular on the branches of one to four years old. Professor Sprenger is a very good pollinator for Cox, Delcorf, Elstar and Gala.

 

Productivity

Much anther dust of high quality.

 

Picking period

It takes quite a long time for the apples to fall of the tree. Not suitable for consumption.

 

Shape

The apples of Professor Sprenger are quite small with an yellow - red-orange blush.

 

Specialties

Not sensitive for scab and mildew. We advise to use at least three different varieties of ornamental apple trees in order to have enough anther dust available during the flowering period of the relevant apple variety.
