Vigour
Quite strong especially in the treetop. The growth can be controlles very good with the application of growth inhabitation measures.
Blossom
Mid-time till quite late. The quality of the pollen is very good and a little bit self-tolerant.
Productivity
Early, regular and every year very good.
Picking period
From the end of September till the end of October.
Shape
Medium size, with a regular till oblong shape. The apples have green-yellow colour and later they turn yellow. Sometimes there can arise a strong coarsening on the epicarp.
Flavour
The pulp is quite solid and mild acid, if the apple is well matured it has a very nice sweet taste.

Shelf life
Golden can be stored till the end of July and the shelf live is very good.
