Vigour
In the first few years a quite strong vigour, later the growth will change to more moderate with horizontal branches.

Blossom
Mid-season, triploid (anther dust of low quality). The use of pollinator-trees is required.

Productivity
Early and regular with good yields. 

Picking period
From the end of september till the end of October.  

Shape
The size of the apples from Jonagold Novajo is quite big, combined with a dark red blush with some stripes and spots over a green background.  

Flavour
Quite firm with yellow-white colored juicy pulp.  

Shelf life 
Jonagold Novajo can be stored till the end of August (under ULO-conditions), combined with a very good shelf life.
